Hello, my name is Robert "Chris" and I am an experienced educator, curriculum designer, and public speaker who has engaged with learners at all levels across the globe through Fair Oaks Farms and public schools at home and abroad. My quest for excellence began when I enrolled in Lincoln Christian University and continued at Illinois State University where I sought the most rigorous teaching education I could undertake. Upon my graduation I partnered with Fair Oaks Farms, whose mission to educate the world about 21st century agriculture has provided me the opportunity to develop and hone my skills within a world-class company that has global reach.I am skilled at and highly knowledgeable of curriculum design, as well as its implementation, both in the public and private sector; to-date all of my professional positions have required the design and implementation of curriculum from the ground up. My particular areas of educational interest include English, History, and Agriculture. Some highlights of my skills/knowledge base include scheduling across platforms to meet multiple business' diverse needs, working with teams and content experts to design and implement curriculum, and aiding management teams in assessing staff performance and suggesting areas for development. In achieving these variable tasks, I consistently demonstrate my familiarity and experience with a variety of learning management systems. I also conduct and oversee departmental training along with SOP and job-aid writing, thus demonstrating my expertise with a variety of software including video recording and editing software, Microsoft Office suite, business communication and management software, and a variety of presentation software/aids.In my off time I am a hobby gamer and work for By the Board Games and Entertainment as their Social Promotions Leader in order to maintain a thriving gaming community and informed consumer base in Northwest Indiana.I am here primarily to network and to further my career goals. I would like to move into larger and more challenging training opportunities which require me to further grow and develop my skill sets. Additionally, as a lifelong educator I would like to better uplift those whom I educate and to help others achieve their career objectives.
