As director of sales for this Malaysian Company I had the responsibility to set up a sales office in the vicinity of Boston to promote the IC Assembly and Test Service of Carsem supporting all the eastern half of US. Sales increased during this time from approx. $12-mil to >$100-mil. Responsibilities Include: Re-Engineering the organizational structure to drive improved execution, and increased effectiveness and efficiency via a disciplined process oriented approach. Group Purchasing Manager Worldwide OperationsAs Group Purchasing Manager, have worldwide multi-divisional responsibilities for purchasing operations, contracts administration receiving, shipping, inventory and import/export activities. In this position I was responsible for developing the long-range strategy and business plan for the company’s five groups and management of approximately >$75 million of expenditures, and supervised 32 salary and hourly personnel, in the U.S. and in the Philippines.

As Corporate Director of Materials and Procurement had accountability for corporate functions and responsibilities for five divisions including materials, purchasing, corporate contracts, material information systems, traffic, stockroom and communications. In this position I was responsible for establishing policies and procedures for the corporation setting material, inventory and purchasing objectives and implementing same.
