Initially involved with Contractor Selection, technical evaluation of the various Contractor’s bids to ensure the selected contractor had an acceptable safety management system and that they fully understood BP’s safety expectations as well as possessing the organisation and facilities to undertake the scope of work.Part of the BP Completions team responsible for construction and completion of the Phase 2 extension to the Nam Con Son onshore liquid extraction gas-processing terminal.Supervising and providing technical support to the contractor during all construction stages including, excavations and foundation work. The installation of primary and secondary steelwork, vessels, pumps and equipment.Piping tie-ins to existing systems (Shut-down scope), the fabrication, erection, hydrotesting and leak testing of utility and process piping systems.

Project: Shah Deniz, TPG 500. Modular integration of drilling/ production jack-up platform. Responsible for managing the pipe work installation and hydrotest activities and to provide technical support to field supervision. Attend daily progress meetings to report on the status of construction activities pertaining to assigned utility and process piping systems. Conduct tri-party walk downs, compile system handover documentation in accordance with the project GOC system for review and final acceptance by commissioning.

Project: Barracuda FPSO, Mua Jahrong Shipyard. Niteroi, Rio de Janneiro.Conversion of a storage tanker to FPSO (deep water production vessel). Responsibilities were to review the commissioning system limits with a view to reducing the limits to align with the current construction status to achieve, where possible, a partial handover to kick start commissioning activities ahead of project schedule.Attend daily meetings to liaise with area managers and field supervision to advise and provide technical support for the implementation and completion of the necessary changes to achieve the completion of revised system limits, detailing required design changes where applicable and additional isolations required to achieve partial sub-system handover to commissioning.

EPC01 Project.The Hook-up of a Production, Compression, Incinerator Platform and Flare to an existing facility. Responsible for the identification and preparation of yard carry-over and hook-up work scope. Carrying out field checks to confirm the feasibility of the installation of hook-up spools. Interface with field supervision in the form of technical support to ensure that tasks were being executed in accordance with the job card, specifications and employing working practices that afford appropriate consideration for the safety of personnel.
