I am currently working the evening shift at Marks and Spencer. This is a varied role where I may be working on the tills, organising existing stock or putting out new stock. This involves a lot of customer interaction, helping them with their enquiries and with what they want in the store.

The job involved handling and managing stock that was to be used on the shop floor or saving for a customer order. The role further included talking with customers both in person and on the phone, working out the best stock that meets their needs. Other services included putting together customer orders, till work, offering to send personal brochures and visualisation of tiles to customers.

I worked for Marks and Spencer both backstage and on the shop floor. The work I did involved sorting and organising stock kept backstage and bringing them out onto the shop floor when needed. Counting specific stock on the shop floor and backstage using a scanner.It further involved sending stock back to either a warehouse, a manufacturer, or Oxfam.
