Working as part of the H&S team within Bibby Distribution LTD as the Lead HSE manager with regional HSE managers reporting in to me. The team as a whole are responsible for ensuring compliance for over 90 locations throughout the UK and are in the process of overhauling the full safety management system to ISO standards. The locations cover transport, warehousing, manufacturing and production on owned and customer sites. As well as managing and mentoring my direct reports I have to attend and present at local, regional and national meetings to all levels throughout the company. Highlights – Assisted in setting up new HSE team, creating a suite of new compliant risk assessments and safe systems of work templates to be used throughout the whole company, Devised detailed lighting, first aid, fire and workplace transport assessment reports to be rolled out in to all owned sites.
