I am a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the human services field, specializing in correctional systems, technology integration, and criminal justice policy and practice. My expertise falls mainly into the areas of correctional assessment, probation supervision models, human services system planning, and evidence-based practice integration. In addition to my practical experience, I am deeply committed to research and education. I'm currently researching and writing about Correctional Artificial Intelligence, an emerging application of AI that raises significant ethical questions. I am an associate faculty member in the human services doctoral program at the University of Arizona and an adjunct professor in the graduate program at Salem University.I have taught courses in human services, justice administration, and criminal justice programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. My passion for teaching also extends to mentoring and coaching students, particularly in their dissertation projects.
