As a member of the management team, I work alongside the General Manager, Electrical and Automation Department Managers to ensure all projects are scheduled and completed successfully above and beyond the expectations of the client, while being committed to the success of the CDN Controls Team.I continue to serve on the Joint Occupational Safety and Health committee, regularly conducting procedural reviews and establishing industry leading best practices. Furthermore, as I have a strong field based background, I strive to ensure that there is an open channel of communication with our skilled apprentices and qualified tradesmen. When we are stronger individually, we are stronger as a team, and as such, I work to bring real world hands-on training into our controlled shop environment so that we can continue to provide excellent value to our customers while fostering a commitment to SERVICE, SAFETY, & RELIABLITY, THE CDN WAY!

My focus is to provide our clients with safe, cost effective solutions, while supporting the junior tradesmen in the apprenticeship program. Currently I am involved with our interdisciplinary Joint Occupational Safety and Health (J.O.S.H.) program as an Instrumentation Representative. Our focus is to provide increased lines of communication between the field staff and management, while furthering the Safety Culture at CDN Controls Ltd.I have extensive experience with installation, commissioning, calibrating, troubleshooting and repair of both electronic and pneumatic instruments, final control elements, and safety systems, as well as control panels in both plant and compressor control applications.

Progressed up through the ranks of the crew from Leasehand to Motorhand.Responsible for various aspects of rig operation, from spotting building during rig move, making drill pipe connections on the rig floor, housekeeping, and mechanical maintenance of motors, compressors and drives.During the time I spent on the rig, we experienced no unpredicted well behaviour, and recorded no serious incidents.
