Responsible for day to day maintenance and operations of all Telecommunications hardware and software at the Center for Schools and Communities.Responsible for developing and maintaining all project databases including, but not limited to, grant management, conference/training databases, rolodex, inventory, staff lists and resume/interview databases.Responsible for reviewing current databases to determine effectiveness of current design and to determine changes necessary to improve database functions.Provides training to staff in use of databases.Responsible to work cooperatively with CSIU technology staff in problem-solving technology needs and purchasing equipment.Evaluates software upgrades as released to determine their usefulness.Advises management on new or upgraded software implementation.Provides assistance to staff with desktop support needs.Responsible for set-up and maintenance of telephone accounts for all CSIU staff located in Camp Hill as well as regional staff.Responsible to oversee all additions, deletions, and changes to telecommunication systems.Responsible to communicate with various State Department program and communications staff, and with various vendors to ensure effective phone system implementation and maintenance.Responsible for troubleshooting phone system problems and correcting personally or contacting appropriate vendor.Responsible for design and to maintain the operation of phone system, utilizing vendors as needed.Ensures maintenance of the phone system and system services for receiving, tracking, and reporting phone calls.Designs and provides data management reports utilizing various phone/computer system resources.Specialties: Database Development, MS Exchange, MS Server, Local and Wide area network design and deployment, IT project Management, PBX design and administration
