This position will serve as primary point of contact, and will liaise with Duke’s ORA, OSP, and NIH, on all pre-award matters with respect to the ACE DFM to include: receive all subcontractor proposals and review for compliance with RFP; forward subcontractor proposals to Steering Committee for approval; prepare all Steering Committee-approved subcontracts for Duke authorized signatory; provide input to the development, implementation, modification and management of the ACE DFM Portal and SOPs as appropriate; and monitor subcontractors’ compliance with SOPs, requesting documentation and corrections from subcontractors to ensure compliance.Work with multiple ACE center site proposal teams in support of new and continuing basic science pilot projects and clinical trials. Participate in monthly and quarterly web conferencing to provide training to clinical site proposal teams, and reports to Steering Committee and Sponsor.Coordinate all of the pre-award subcontract proposal process functions, SOPs, and make decisions regarding the subcontract management approach using the ACE DFM Portal, and work closely with the Post-Award Manager, Pre- and Post-Award Financial Analyst II, and appropriate team members as required.
