AGCALL2012 TO PRESENTASSOCIATEBegan with Agcall taking on the Contracted position of Field trial manager for Dow Agro Sciences, Nexera Grower Strip Trials ,I had 3 sites in 2012 in Hague, Cudworth and Nipawin, In 2013 I had 5 sites in Humboldt, Melfort X2, Tisdale and Nipawin, and 4 sites for 2014TBA, My responsibilities included cooperating with a Grower cooperator chosen by DAS ,establish sites(about 40Acres), confirm growers understanding of project objectives, procedures, protocols, and ensuring they are committed to the success of the site, Ensure the grower maintains progressive and standard agronomic practices, Acquiring field records such as soil tests, insect controls , herbicide, fungicide, Nutrient etc. Assist in field operations (seeding, spraying, swathing, and harvest), collect data from sites including plant counts, assessing Early season vigour, days to flower, lodging, days to harvest, crop swath timing, harvestibility and yield data.
