Medicine Unit

• Perform RN duties according to the CNO standards and RNAO best practice guidelines.• Provide medical care for patients suffering from different illness/disease such as chest pain, SOB, renal failure, and etc.• Assess patients and prioritise care plan, document, and monitor outcome.• Perform nursing skills as such: initiation of IV site, ECG, blood administration, indwelling cath, head to toe assessment, applies critical thinking, and etc.• Provide information and support to patients and family members regarding condition, prognosis and treatment program.

Stroke Rehab

• Perform RN duties according to the CNO standards and RNAO best practice guidelines. • Utilizes the nursing process as a member of, and in collaboration with the inter-disciplinary team in the delivery of consistent quality care to meet the needs of the client and family.• Uses nursing process to provide safe, basic nursing care to clients by applying nursing knowledge, skills, and judgment to assess client needs and providing holistic nursing care for clients under direct/indirect supervision of a regulated member.
