I am passionate about leveraging computer networking technology to improve the lives of end-users around the world.I own and operate JackRabbit Wireless - an Internet Service Provider (ISP) based in El Paso, Texas. JackRabbit’s focus is on delivering high performance internet connectivity to under-served communities, particularly rural Colonias along the US/Mexico border which have long been overlooked by large corporate ISPs.My time building the JackRabbit Wireless network led to the development of LibreQoS - a Free and Open Source Quality of Experience platform which is now deployed by hundreds of ISPs worldwide. LibreQoS helps ISPs - particularly those in developing nations - to deliver stable, reliable connectivity to their customers where it would otherwise be impossible.I also act as the Director of Network Operations for Strato One Networks - an ISP that provides high-availability, high-redundancy connectivity to businesses throughout our region.
