Serve subpoenas, arrest warrants, and deliver emergency messages. Performs as the department Tactical Team Leader. Responsible for equipping, scheduling, coordinating and training an 8 man team including snipers and a negotiator. Drafts and briefs senior police administration on employment of tactical applications including hostage situations, barricaded subjects, fugitive apprehensions, high risk warrant service, dignitary protective service, displaced personnel search and recovery, covert surveillance and vehicle interdiction. Develops a department Standing Operating Procedure and Operational Plan. Accounts for team equipment totaling $15000.00 and maintains team personnel and training records. Manages a team budget. Procures equipment through federal grant applications and vendor participation complete with product testing and research. Alternate Field Training Officer.
