In addition to his financial services work, Rob Chambers is a writer and was for a several years (2005-2016) a part time Assistant Professor of English at Kennesaw State University. An Atlanta native, he is a graduate of Princeton (1965) and earned his masters and doctorate at Indiana University (1970, 1974). Rob has thrived in varied occupations such as serving as an officer at a large securities firm, as a senior public relations account executive at the country's largest PR firm, and as the Eastern divisional manager of a Boston-based mutual fund marketing company. He has been the Georgia correspondent for The Economist (1978-83; 1999-2000), and he was twice a reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (1980-82; 1997-99) where his writing won a national fellowship competition. His scholarly work, Parody: The Art That Plays With Art was published by Peter Lang in September, 2010, and a light, decidedly non scholarly companion volume, How To Write Parodies and Become Immortal, was unleashed in March, 2012. His pro bono and volunteer work has included serving as the chair of the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art and as the PR rep for the Atlanta United Way Campaign
