I am looking to get back into NDT, I have passed the CGSB UT 2 written paper and just require to sit the practice aspect. Also holding MT and PT PCN Level 2 means I can bypass courses and sit CGSB exams. My current position is the structural Foreman for the CH149 Cormorant Program at IMP Aerospace. Managing a team of structural technicians in a Depth Level Maintenance facility. Organising repair schedules to facilitate the delivery of aircraft within customer specified timetables and being the single point of contact for repair advice, using my extensive knowledge of aircraft structures and NDT. Previously I was the senior NDT technician at RNAS Culdrose, Cornwall, UK, providing NDT advice and assistance to military aircraft operators in the South West of England. Covering ET, UT, RT, PT and MT to PCN level 2 standard in Aerospace inspections. Dealing with outside agencies with regard to equipment procurement, servicing and repair.Holder of PCN level 2 qualifications in PT (General), MT (General) and UT (Welds 3.1 and 3.2). Passed Phased Array training to PCN Level 2 standard on Omniscan in the inspection of welds16 years aircraft maintenance experience, progressing from line servicing to senior maintenance supervisor of a watch system. Including 3 years carrying out major airframe structural repairs.
