Robert is a Director at Burrell and heads the firm’s Wealth Management practice. With more than 23 years professional and retirement planning experience, Robert specialises in wealth management advice, superannuation and equities. A key member of the Burrell team, Robert was instrumental in building the firm’s wealth management specialisation as well as the set up of its well regarded Premium Portfolio Service which now takes the time and worry out of owning a share portfolio for more than 800 Burrell clients.In wealth management, Robert’s advice covers simple savings plans, debt reduction, to the more complex areas of superannuation advice, transition to retirement strategies, estate planning, self managed superannuation funds and tax minimisation strategies.Robert also advises his clients in equities. He works with them to develop and agree their investment strategies and then manages, reviews and advises on their ongoing portfolios. He is also responsible for clients’ portfolios which come under the Individually Managed Portfolio (IMP) service whereby Burrell is directly responsible for stock selection and other investment decisions.With sound experience in both equities and wealth management, Robert has helped many Burrell clients achieve their goals by investing into different asset classes to produce well-diversified individualised portfolios.Before joining Burrell in 2002, Robert worked as a Paraplanner and Financial Advisor with Brisbane accounting and financial advisory firms CFL Financial Planning and B.B. Whitehouse.
