Leadership Fellow
The Port Authority’s Leadership Fellow Program is a distinguished program for leadership and public service in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan region. This two-year rotational program offers Port Authority Fellows invaluable on the job experience in several business functions such as planning, finance, security, facility operations, human resources, and much more.Rotation 1: CFO- Storm Mitigation and Resilience Officeo Assisted with grant programs related to Hurricane Sandy and COVID-19 and managed project closeouts to streamline project cost sheets and database management o Created organizational structure documents to streamline future grant applicationso Worked with line departments to write and complete federal grant applications such as FEMA Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities, and FEMA Flood Mitigation Assistance grants Rotation 2: Communications- Centennial Celebration Teamo Created project tracker and managed roughly 17 Centennial initiatives including video projects, employee appreciation events, interviews with former agency leaders o Worked with social media team to publish posts highlighting the Centennial for four social media channels to engage the New York and New Jersey public with the agency o Collaborated with Employee Business Resource Groups on Centennial Diversity and Inclusion projects such as the Network for Black Employees and Port Authority Pride LGBT Group Rotation 3: PATH- Customer Experience Teamo Analyze customer experience survey responses and compile results for agency leaders to improve process functions and customer experience on PATH Traino Respond and appropriately answer costumer inquires in a timely manner through salesforce, customer experience emails, and phone calls o Streamline and improve CX processes for surveys, media requests, and customer inquiriesRotation 4: Operations Services Department- Central Automotive Division
