My career in communications began with Housley communications burying copper phone drops for At&t. While contracting for them I learned the art of connection thru copper. I then was hired by Southwestern Bell Telephone and worked in the call center and handled in coming calls and directory assistance calls providing a service to the public. I then went to work for NTS Communications as we started the construction dept.of the company as a company we installed all of our own main lines known as the backbone of fiber optics through out the city of lubbock tx. By means of trench or boring and miles of aerial work. I learned the trade of splicing here at NTSI gained knowledge of single to mass splicing and putting on various types of closures to house the fiber optics. I then went to back to AT&T in which I went to Irving tx for extensive training of pole climbing and the art of installation and repair to driving defensive in a company vehicle and also received my red cross certification in first aid and cpr. After company cutbacks I was forced to seek employment with the prison system where I became a sgt of corrections In lubbock tx Montford unit in this place in which is a mental facility and a very challenging place to work.My next step was with TEXCOM communications in Ft Worth Tx. In where we did road staking and place running lines for the trenches to be dug for the fiber optics to be placed. After job was completed I was re employed by NTS in lubbock and wemt back to splicing fiber till Apr 2013 to present when I came aboard with Fiberlight as a project manager in the greater Ft. Stockton area. The project in the south is a multi million dollar project to provide fiber to various Verizon cell phone towers with the conjunction of Big Bend Tel.The project is successful. .Current experiences of construction management has led me too Unite private networks for three years and currently with Amsys group out of Houston Tx. We currently offer telecom construction to include engineering details, I have managed several construction crews to complete to install conduit to follow with fiber optics being placed by several means. I have been in telecom construction for over 18 years and take pride in completion of fiber projects with satisfaction.
