Hi, I am Robert, and I am a data analyst with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After many years of working my way up in the culinary field, I trained as a data analyst and have worked on projects which utilize Excel, Tableau, SQL, and Python. Working in the kitchen has always provided me with opportunities to learn new techniques and find ways to be more efficient under time constraints. Collaboration is a must in the service industry, and I really enjoy being part of a team to improve services and processes. I have also worked as an Environmental Consultant where I was able to use data to help clients make informed decisions regarding environmental cleanup and supply chain decisions.My openminded and curious nature drive me to look at a situation from different perspectives, allowing me to gain insights and find solutions to problems that were not initially clear to me. I really enjoy solving complex problems by breaking them down into simpler ones, much like following a recipe. My ability to put myself in the shoes of my audience allows me to tell a story in a way that anyone can relate to and understand. I am always looking to improve upon my skillset and bring value to my employer. I plan to continue learning new skills and adding new tools and techniques to my analytics repertoire.Over time, I concluded that the Data Analytics field is where I wish to grow in my career.
