Current- Remotely lead a team of data scientists, business intelligence analysts, and financial data analysts to respond to broad institutional requests involving profitability, 340b eligibility, ROI estimates, cash prediction, causal analysis, contract management change, pricing, cost accounting, etc.- Guide team in learning and applying new tools like R, RStudio Connect, Python, SQL, Git, and Docker in order to increase efficiency. - Construct in house contract modelling to validate reimbursement.- Develop inpatient and outpatient market share estimates using a combination of California discharge and ambulatory data, raw claims data from multiple claims providers, and other data sources.- Model payments using XGBoost to help the enterprise estimate the value of accounts receivable in the midst of complex internal and external changes.- Design payment estimation and attribution to align with how payments are received as opposed to broad reimbursement rate methodology.- Coordinate with key members in analytics and data science teams in developing an open source data model that will support the entire enterprise and allow for faster development.- Create analytics that leverage drive time and state estimates of Medicaid eligible residents to better reach at risk and vulnerable populations more effectively.
