Responsible for creating and managing a $500M portfolio of distressed credit, opportunistic credit, special situations equity, private debt restructuring, non-performing real estate loans, and corporate private equity within the Credit Funds Group. Returned $1B+ to investors since 2010. • Sourced over $500M in actionable deal flow over a two-year period through a combination of joint ventures and Fortress-specific assets in corporate debt, loans, legacy portfolio, trade debts, and real estate assets. • Created a disciplined approach to investment that yielded unlevered returns of 18% and a weighted average life of less than 2 years. Provided financial analysis and investment updates to support all investment decisions.

Structured and negotiated terms for numerous debt transactions with an emphasis on NPL and other credit-related investments, including par loan origination. Work included both loan origination and asset management. Oversaw successful debt restructuring programs of portfolio companies, including court-ordered bankruptcy and consensual restructuring plans.

Performed and supervised accounting and reporting functions for FIG’s private equity group. Responsibilities included monthly and quarterly closing, weekly pricing, capital calls/distributions, investor reporting, and preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements. Managed due diligence and surveillance activities.
