In his former role, Chris was responsible for the coordination, development, and implementation of UnitedHealthcare’s sales strategy and client relationships to the defined Higher Education and Public Sector business segment in support of UnitedHealthcare's health plans in the Central Region which includes the states of NE, IA, KS, MO, IN, IL, WI, MI, KY and OH. UnitedHealthcare was the first national carrier to understand the unique requirements and challenges employer’s like state and local governments, public school districts, public and private colleges and universities, faith-based organizations and not-for-profit organizations face in maintaining affordable health benefit programs for their employees and retirees. Chris worked collaboratively with his local health plans to provide public sector employers with consultative products and services supported by an end to end business segment with dedicated experts in all areas of health and well-being delivery.
