Current responsibilities include facilitating classroom training through presentations, role plays, demonstrations, etc. while serving as a positive role model, coach and mentor to the new hires. Duties also include meeting day to day deadlines, coordinating with staffing, curriculum suggestions and continuous effective communication with the Training Director on ideas, and suggestions on making the training department the best in the business.Field Training responsibilities have included working with the new hires upon graduatingfrom the class, to implement and execute what they’ve learned as they interact with customers in the field. My role has been to create a productive, challenging and competitive environment which simulates “real world” to the new hires preparing each of them for their new positions in their divisions. This preparation includes, goal setting, strategic thinking, being an expert with the sales call process by teaching and effective demonstration, coaching, mentoring and leading while being a positive role model to the new hires and veteran sales reps.. Accomplishments include excellent, positive feedback and evaluations from the new hires as to what they’ve learned in class as well in the field.. Just as important is the results many of the new hires are experiencing in the field with presenting and selling our products to existing and new customers.
