The project involved one Hydrogen Peroxide tanker which ruptured, four Sulfuric Acid cars and 6 Hydrochloric Acid cars. The weather was a factor with rainfall and with the fact the derailment happened in a swamp. Crews worked around the clock in shifts to remove the spilled product and place in designated area for disposal. The project required to rehab crews and maintain their safe working conditions. Project Supervisor for a tank cleaning project in New Orleans which involved. Four tanks containing unrefined vegetable oil, one tank containing unrefined corn oil, and two tanks containing six oil. Setup logistics for rental of equipment and disposal of over 200 tons of waste. And coordinated with other shops for additional personnel to help with project.
