25 years in the Telecommunications industryEntered the field in 1998 traveling the southeast United States as a communications technician installing all the Central Office and remote office equipment for various entities both private as well as government related. Learned about the installation of copper, coaxial and fiber plant. As well as, the standards in which to properly build the inside of the office from the ground up. Relay racks, fiber duct, cable trays, framework, power banks, battery backup, wiring, ground bars, continuity testing, cable routing, fiber rings, cable identification etc...I've also engaged in the schooling and field work of security/access control. Serving as a field technician installing/repairing various security panels, security devices, CCTV cameras, NVRs, access control panels, access control models, access control programming, security system programming etc...Currently working as an Install and Repair Tech II for a local telecommunications company in my hometown. Responsible for installing/repairing their copper, coaxial and fiber plant to residences and commercial entities around the surrounding Tri-County area of Berkeley-Dorchester-Charleston, SC footprint.
