Due to a restructure I had two roles within the organisation, operating in a matrix management environment. Operating as Technical Delivery Lead for the IT (Web) Operations team, I was the effective 'Scrum Master' where I formalised and implemented an agile working methodology for the teams product focused contributions, as well as our IT operational needs. With each product team having a dedicated point of contact as part of our DevOps culture, I was often taking the lead on platform wide issues, such as aligning the development output with our ITSM processes.As Information Security Architect, I built an ISMS designed to compliment the business needs, expanding the scope of the Risk Register, identifying and implementing new policies and controls where appropriate (or required by our new parent company) and working towards ISO27001 standards for contracted services and PCI-DSS v3.1 (SAQ). Additionally I was responsible for software selection and supplier management of our InfoSec & networking partners, which includes all penetration testing.
