As a backend developer, my experience centers around the "Sales Management" project, a sales management application designed to facilitate product and sales administration within a company. My contribution focused on developing the system's logic and infrastructure from the server perspective.The project was built on a web application architecture implemented using the Spring boot.I chose Spring Boot due to its ease of configuration and rapid development capabilities. Additionally, I used Spring Data JPA to interact with the database effectively and Java Persistence API (JPA) to map Java objects to database tables.I configured a MySQL database to store data related to products and sales. I designed the database schema and used JPA entities to model relationships and data.I implemented RESTful controllers using Spring MVC to expose API entry points via HTTP. The controllers handle requests, perform corresponding operations, and return JSON responses.I created a service that allowed users to add, update, and delete products. I implemented unit tests to verify the functionality of this service using Junit.To test component interaction, I used the Mockito framework to create mocks of external dependencies, such as the persistence layer. This allowed me to simulate the behavior of these dependencies and focus on testing the internal logic of my services. My experience in the "Sales Management" project as a backend developer has provided me with a solid understanding of relevant practices and technologies in web application development. Through implementing key functionalities, conducting thorough testing, and adopting agile development approaches, I was able to contribute to the project's success. I am excited to continue applying my skills in future backend projects and to explore new ways to enhance and optimize applications.
