I'm responsible for network infrastructure of all the US and Canada stores. My primary responsibilities are the wireless infrastructure, location services, switching, routing in the store and wireless devices. Some of my other responsibilities involve evaluating new wireless infrastructures, new wireless devices, management systems to manage our whole wireless and wired infrastructure. Also, I support other groups within Home Depot in many projects, here are a few examples:- Help the security team and device engineering team in deploying 802.1X on mobile devices and ISE as the RADIUS server.- Support the operation and business organizations deploy a new wireless device to all the stores in the US. I helped these internal team navigate through several shortcomings the new devices from two different vendors encounter in the early evaluation cycle. The improvement of the new devices was critical before full deployment to all the US stores.- Responsible for evaluating new management systems for our wireless infrastructure, capable of supporting 60K APs.

 Supported the Wireless infrastructure group for the Home Depot Headquarters and all the stores in the US and Canada. Developed implementation plans for converting the wireless infrastructure from IOS Access Points to LWAPP Access Points. Approved new store and existing store wireless designs.  Designed and created automation scripts for the configuration of new Wireless LAN Controllers. All automation was done using the TCL/TK scripting Language and PERL. Design and implemented the wireless guest access for Home Depot Stores. Recommended the appropriate code to be deployed in the store environment or the headquarters. Help deploy Unified Communications at all US stores. The environment was a mixture of wired and wireless devices (7975, 7962 and Motorola wireless devices). Technical leads in troubleshooting problems with wireless devices (Motorola, win8 tablets) and the wireless and voice infrastructure. Initial deployment of 802.1X on the wireless infrastructure and ISE to 267 stores. Design and initial deployment of location based system to track every device in a store and provide analytics data to Home Depot management team. Design of Mesh network for truck yards in Distribution Centers. Help the Cisco and Home Depot teams in Mexico design a new wired and wireless solution for all the stores in Mexico. I was able to communicate and explain the design to the Mexican team in Spanish, making the conversation more comfortable. Design and deploy the Clean Air solution in all the US and Canada store. With the addition of this feature, the Home Depot and Cisco teams were able to pinpoint potential wireless problems and improve the wireless experience to clients in the stores. Design and implemented the management of the wireless system by using WCS to manage all AP and WLC in the enterprise. Design and implemented the migration from WCS to Prime Infrastructure for all the Distribution Centers, Atlanta (HQ) and Austin buildings.
