MONITOR COMPANYAt the age of twenty, RLC became principal computer programmer for Monitor Company without obtaining a college degree. RLC later briefly worked for Monitor Company as a general management consultant in international telecommunications. During these tenures, RLC worked on projects for certain of Monitor Company’s founding directors, including Michael A. Bell and Mark B. Fuller (managing director).RLC developed systems used for analyses supporting Monitor Company client strategy development, as well as systems used by Monitor Company for its own global financial accounting, management of its professional staff, and recruiting of professional staff.MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGYRLC attended MIT as an undergraduate for three years, intermittently, never graduating, with declared major varying from management information systems to finance and later history.Among RLC's instructors at MIT were Alvin Drake (applied probability; later Professor Emeritus [?]), Stanley Fischer (economics; later Chief Econmoist for The World Bank [?]), Bruce Mazlish (history; later Professor Emeritus), Richard Ruback (finance), and Gerry Sussman (computer science).RLC was personally acquainted with elderly Dr. Albert G. Hill, who was senior staff at MIT's Radiation Lab during World War II and later Vice President of Research at MIT; Dr. Hill had a distinguished career in the domain of national defense science. RLC was a personal assistant to and friend of elderly James R. Killian, who was a principal executive administrator at MIT during World War II and later its President and Chairman. Mr. Killian was appointed U.S. Presidential Science Advisor by U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1957 in response to launch of Sputnik.TERMINATED.
