Among other things, redesigned Illumina's certified service provider program into the Propel Core and Service certification program and introduced other programs to maximize consumables utilization for Illumina's DNA sequencing platforms. The purpose of the consortium was, in close collaboration with leaders of the major U.S. cancer centers such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Dana Farber Cancer Cancer, MD Anderson Cancer Center and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, to advance the establishment of specific standards for the use of next-generation DNA sequencing in clinical oncology.
