I serve as the Vice President of Scheduling and Claims Development for Britton and Associates, Inc. and have been with the firm since 1990. My experience began in 1979 with "hands on" field work and supervision on numerous commercial projects throughout metro Atlanta. My experience is enhanced by my formal education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I graduated with honors in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction.On various commerial projects I have served as an Estimator, Supervisor and a Project Manager where some of my duties included scheduling, estimating, contract administration, procurement, cost controls and general management. My extensive knowledge in concrete, steel, masonry, and interior finishes construction gives me insight as to the necessary interface of trades to bring a project to completion on budget and in a coordinated and timely manner.My field application of computer software knowledge enables me to effectively analyze controls, costs and schedules to demonstrate the cause and effect on projects that have experienced delays, impacts, and corresponding cost overruns. Through the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACEI) I am certified as a Cost Consultant (CCC), Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) as well as Earned Value Professional (EVP).Since I joined Britton and Associates, Inc. in 1990, I have implemented and overseen the development of Claim elements including As-Built Schedules, Change Order Analysis, Tracking Databases, Manpower/Productivity Analyses, Job Cost Audits, Earned Value Analyses, Impact and Disruption Reviews, and CPM Schedule Delay Analyses on numerous major projects. My Career objective is to maintain a responsible and challenging construction related position as a Senior Project Manager, Construction Consultant, Scheduler or Analyst where my experience and expertise can provide a valuable contribution to the overall construction process.
