I have more than 100 publications in the fields of school social work, social work education, family intervention and social work values and ethics. My edited book in school social work has now gone through seven distinct editions since its inception in 1982 and remains perhaps the most consulted and used book in the graduate school social work specialization. I also have co-authored a book on social work with couples families, which uses multiple ,methodologies to builds social work intervention using the family itself as an agent of its own development. Over almost 50 years I have practiced with families in schools, in a family service agency, in an urban parish and in my own private practice. I have taught internationally in Lithuania, in Poland and in Spain as well as had some involvement contributing to Italian social work. Working in these settings I have been conversant in these languages, as well as French and German.
