Turnover was large and order fulfillment was low. Replaced entire warehouse shipping crew and set order pulling standards. Introduced pay for performance and reorganized the facility. Decreased head count by 20% while operating on time and under budget. Restructured Buying and Advertising units for Turners, reducing operating costs by $140K per year. Marketing staff not open to change and ignoring long term strategy. Took over department. Rebuilt vendor relationships and revised advertising programs. Initiated highly successful new gift card, print advertising, and radio and television programs. All operated under budget.
