A automobile man from the beginning, Robert began assisting his father in the automotive business when he was only 11 and hasn't turned back since. Fast forward to present day, Robert has risen from Sales Manager, to General Manager, to President, CEO, and Dealer Principal of Crabtree Automotive group where he owned and operated Toyota of Westport, Lexus of Westport, and Colonial Toyota in Milford, Connecticut’s #1 Volume Toyota Dealer. The Westport operations were sold in 2008, allowing Robert to focus on growing Colonial Toyota to what it is today. In 2009 he won both the Entrepreneur of the Year and Businessman of the Year awards, as well as further recognition including the white glove award from the Milford Chamber of Commerce (where he currently serves on the Board of Directors).Robert was raised and continues to raise his children with a strong Christian value and spirituality which expands much further than just attending church on Sundays. The whole family is very involved in many activities such as snow and water skiing, snowmobiling, golf, trap shooting, crew, and equestrian. Family is and always has been extremely important to him, including his family at Colonial Toyota. Robert looks forward to growing Colonial Toyota and his presence in the Milford community!
