As part of the Project Integration team, working holistically across all elements of the project focusing on the integration of all packages to ensure that overall project delivery succeeds. This was achieved by planning, facilitating, and providing strategic solutions to align and drive both internal and external stakeholders as well as Contractors to a successful best for project outcome. Working closely with the Sydney Metro implementation groups tracking and monitoring emerging issues, exchange of information, project assumptions and driving project completion to achieve acceptable asset handover. Provided leadership by assessing and communicating the aligned strategy across the project. Informed and supported senior management decisions with risk assessed strategies on key project issues and priorities to ensure integrated delivery and handover of the complex infrastructure project.

Led and collaborated the development of the technical documents to achieve the first Unsolicited Proposal (USP) & Integrated Station Development (ISD) for Sydney Metro which became the foundation for ISD projects on City & Southwest project and future Metro projects. Identified interface and integration risks from the USP/tender assessment and coordinated with the commercial team and Program Office to mitigate risks in future project contracts.

Sydney Light Rail - City and South EastResponsible for leading a team to deliver integrated designs with the D&C JV partner Alstom from Circular Quay to Moore Park. Managed multiple interfaces to ensure architectural, civil, urban and system design alignment with O&M objectives and the Scope & Performance Requirements (SPR). Accountable to risk assess all elements of the design to ensure safe delivery of the works and overall operation whilst maintaining schedule.

Project Manager on the Transport Access Program (TAP) Easy Access Station Upgrade project.

Responsible for managing a team of Technical Managers to deliver technical and urban design solutions to Light Rail projects within NSW. Projects include:- CBD & South East Light Rail PPP project- CBD & South East Light Rail early works project- Parramatta Light Rail- Newcastle Light Rail

Responsible for managing the Principals Technical Advisor to deliver the reference design of a multi-discipline brownfield infrastructure project. Prepared works/design briefs and contract documentation for input to the D&C Managing Contractor tender and managed the delivery of the detailed design phase from the Managing Contractor. Supervised the planning, resourcing and implementation of the construction phase to ensure delivery was achieved.Facilitating the interface between the Managing Contractor and the separate innovative BIM Pilot study and provided input for requirements and outcomes for the TfNSW BIM strategy.

Project and design manager on a range rail infrastructure projects throughout Sydney. Projects include:- Second Harbour Crossing- St. Leonards to Chatswood Quadruplication- Wynyard Walk enabling works

Responsible for the planning, implementation, inspection and reports on the Buckinghamshire County Council (BCC) bridge infrastructure.

Farringdon Station Redevelopment Project. Provided responses to technical queries raised by contractor (CoLOR – Costain Laing O’Rourke Joint Venture) on detailed design submissions. Managed multi-discipline team to provide responses to technical queries and revised designs due to changes in scope. Liaised with client, contractor and stakeholders (London Underground, Thameslink, First Capital Connect, English Heritage and London Borough of Islington) to ensure efficient works and that construction phase was not delayed.

7-Car Platform Extension Project. Managed multi-discipline team to deliver platform extension detailed design packages for four stations on Hammersmith and City Underground line. Following detailed design, commissioned to continue through construction stage, supporting construction team.

Farringdon Station Redevelopment Project. Reviewed and commented on Guide to Rail Investment Projects (GRIP) 4 concept designs to ensure compliancy with scope of works, Network Rail and London Underground standards. Concept designs included two station buildings, platform extensions, existing station building redevelopment, bridge reconstruction, decommissioning works, new substation and new train shed roof. Liaised with Network Rail and London Underground to ensure concept designs could be followed through to GRIP 5 detail design stage.

Produced concept and detailed designs for varying different railway projects across the UK.

Organised and implemented principal inspections, inspection reports, approval in principle reports, assessment calculations and assessment reports for many different types of London Underground structures including bridges, covered ways, retaining walls, girdering, platforms, station canopies and linear staircases. The role included mentoring other team members.

Produced detail design for bridge reconstruction and strengthening works.

Produced assessment calculations for varying bridge types across the southern region of Network Rail.
