Robert Crestani has been practicing as a Project Manager in the Sydney Industrial and Residential markets for the past 10 years. He is a registered NSW Architect and holds a Qualified Supervisors Certificate - Builder. Robert has been focused on leading clients and project teams in the delivery of complex projects in the manufacturing, food and beverage, cold storage, and electrical distribution industries for local and multi-national clients. His particular interest lies in the procurement, coordination and interfaces of multiple process components and operational environments.His ability to understand the macro and micro aspects of a projects delivery and formulate a procurement methodology has enabled him to assist with a large array of projects and quickly understand the business drivers of our clients projects. Through his project interactions, Robert has developed a network of engineers, contractors and consultants who can provide advice on aspects of risk mitigation, programme and cost related issues. He has been involved with procurement of D&C Contracts, preparation of Client/Developer PPR’s, Construct Only, EPCM and GMP delivery methods.Robert has been the Senior Project Manager for a 12 month, $42m capital expenditure, facilitating all aspects of the project from scoping, cost estimation, authority approvals, to vendor management and project handover/closeout. The client suffered a catastrophic fire and Robert led the complete rebuild of their manufacturing site, which included utility upgrades, planning approvals, multiple vendors and trade package procurement. His ability to engage with project stakeholders from Corporate Management, local approval authorities, and international vendors provided the client with the confidence that Robert would deliver the project on time, on budget and meet their quality and operational objectives.
