Served as the Treasurer's contact for organizations that hold unclaimed property. Assisted companies in preparing and filing annual reports. Answered questions and explained the terms of the Colorado Unclaimed Property Act. Reviewed reports for compliance with statutory requirements and moved to enforce compliance. Responsible for all accounting functions within the Department's computer records to ensure that all moneys in the Unclaimed Property Division's custody were in the appropriate funds and that the office's figures remained in balance with the accounting software employed by the State of Colorado.Trained employees responsible for entering report data into the Treasury's database. Helped to identify companies that are out of compliance with the terms of the statute and worked with the audit department to educate the companies as to their responsibilities.

Set rental rates by tracking reservation information and competitors' rates.Managed the return of rental cars from other cities by tracking vehicles which were "stranded" on lots away from Denver. Worked with National Car Rental personnel in those cities to place those vehicles on rentals which would bring them closer to Denver.Worked with insurance companies and National Car Rental customers to collect money for vehicle repairs as an assistant to the Claims Manager.Produced employee newsletter twice a month.
