Lead the successful delivery and integration of several enhancements into the new ground processing architecture ensuring all CBGS activities meet their documented delivery schedules and quality of services. Lead the ongoing effort at a National Laboratory to employ agile software practices to build the new ground processing architecture. Partner and coordinate with NRO/NGA application and service providers to maximize integration. Engage with NGA-Denver operations team to communicate and solicit input on the delivery and performance of mission processing projects. Took the initiative to meet with SMEs to gain knowledge on the components, operations, and architecture for not only CBGS but also organizations and stakeholders (NRO, NASIC, NGA, etc.) allowing for better communication and responses at the appropriate forums to ensure all impacts and concerns were known with actions taken and solutions provided. Led multiple technical exchange meetings and discussions to ensure appropriate involvement of personnel across directorates and agencies came together for problem investigation and resolution. Proactively lead a herculean effort by implementing a “punchlist” for tracking complex items to closure; thus achieving all readiness requirements and transitioning the new ground architecture with enhancements into operations. Initiated effort and proactively worked with the developers to create a fast-past execution plan for delivering a quick reaction capability on a high priority national-level emergent need; demonstrating this capability well in advance of the required milestone. Received Innovation and Achievement award from the NRO Ground Enterprise Directorate for future acquisition strategy to meet Joint Emergent Operations Need (JEON).

Provide technical assessments and recommendations regarding the day-to-day execution and implementation of the GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS) system, a MAIS with annual budget of over $100M: contractor performance, negotiation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), resolution of contractual, programmatic and security issues with regards to accuracy, timeliness, and cost. Work with the appropriate contractor teams, program offices, contracting officer, and other NGA stakeholder organizations to identify and resolve issues with the GIMS. Prepare, coordinate, and brief required presentations (COR Request, Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), cost reviews, and close-out reports) to the appropriate NGA configuration management forums (Acquisition Service Board, NGA Engineering Requirements Board, etc.) that are associated with the Resource Tasking Management (RTM) operations and support for GIMS. Work closely with the budget analyst, contracting officer, and NGA General Council to ensure all approved efforts are appropriately funded, to include funding for all life cycle support. Provide input to the programming and budget process including POM and Unfunded Request (UFRs), resolving all funding discrepancies. Participate in monthly program and budget reviews.

Principal facilitator for the planning, engineering, acquisition, and management of commercial satellite communications services within the Department of Defense (DoD). Responsible for supporting and sustaining Joint warfighter satellite requirements from the combatant commands, services, and agencies, delivering services in a responsive and cost effective manner. Supervises 36 government civilian and contractor support employees to include direct support to the Global SATCOM Support Center (GSSC) and Regional SATCOM Support Center (RSSC). Manages annual resources in excess of $350M, including 2 separate ID/IQ contracts with billion dollar ceilings.
