McCloskey International is a global company supplying mobile and static crushing, screening, bulk handling and washing equipment into the recycling, quarrying, washing and aggregate markets.Within McCloskeys I have worked as Production Support, Manufacturing Engineering, and the Design Department and have had a spattering of other projects alongside these main roles.I am currently the Planning Manager, my main responsibility lying with long term and short term production unit planning, with the aim of providing accuracy in reports to the senior stakeholders and level loading to achieve our machine output targets from multiple production facilities.I have a passion for Flying, I was a Volunteer Instructor with 664 Volunteer Gliding Squadron Newtownards before it's disbandment in late 2016, I remained involved with the Air cadets albeit in a ground based role with the newly stood up 664 Aerospace Ground School as the Chief Instructor until early 2024. We aimed to bring aviation topics and principles to the Northern Ireland cadets to try to encourage young people to get into aviation and STEM roles.I was heavily involved in the AircraftBuildNI project which ran over a few years in which cadets from Northern Ireland ATC built a serviceable Sting S4 aircraft which flew into the Fairford Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2019.I enjoy sailing and am a member of EDYC where I take part in social Club Racing and general cruising on a Hunter Horizon sailing yacht.I am also an RYA safety boat qualified driver at the Club and have covered rescue duty for both youth events and large scale sailing events on Stanford lough.I enjoy squash as a hobby. I have played for both my former School and Clubs and now enjoy social games when I have free time to wind down!I enjoy woodwork and motorcycling but have two young boys that also keep me on my toes anytime I get a sniff of 'downtime'
