Since 2015, I’ve been working as the Local Sales Manager for both the ABC and NBC affiliates here in SWFL with Hearst Television. In my role, I lead a team of Account Executives in their efforts to best position our properties to the advertising community. Prior to that, I spent 8 years as an Advertising Account Manager with NBC Connecticut in Hartford, CT. In that role, I was responsible for achieving core and new business quarterly budgets on NBC Connecticut, NBCConnecticut.com, COZI TV and various other multi-platforms within NBC Universal. Prior to joining NBC Connecticut I was with ESPN for six years where I worked in various capacities. Before leaving ESPN I worked as the Coordinator of Affiliate Sales and Marketing. My main responsibilities included creating and implementing marketing plans, managing the department budget, coordinating the yearly incentive plans, and attending affiliate events. In addition, I was communicating with cable affiliates on a daily basis selling our products and working with them on sharing the value of ESPN with their customers. Before working in Affiliate Sales and Marketing I worked in production as an Associate Director. This position trained me to work well under pressure within a team environment to help produce live telecasts. Working as an Associate Director also helped me strengthen my organization and time management skills. I also worked as an adjunct instructor at the University of Hartford where I taught an Introduction to Television Production course to undergraduate and graduate students.
