Growing up in a small rural community caused many difficulties when approaching the technology field. With little to no experts in my area, I was forced to use the Internet as my primary ally. Becoming a self-taught Java developer was the only skill I had going for me. But that skill was enough to get a local Internet Service Provider to hire me and give me a chance. My time in the Wireless ISP field has opened doors to technology and information I would rarely have access to in my area. I am incredibly fortunate to have those opportunities that have helped me learned more than I would have ever expected. But I always have a thirst for new knowledge and I'm constantly seeking out new technologies or ideas that will help the company I work for as well as myself in the future.
