About Robert Nixon

As the Director of North America Portfolio Commercialization and Stewardship at Bayer, I am responsible for developing and executing the business strategy for ensuring the commercial success and regulatory compliance of our crop protection and seed and trait products and systems. I lead and develop a team of marketing and stewardship professionals who work with the crop businesses, sales, technical, regulatory, and legal functions to deliver value to our customers and stakeholders.With over 16 years of experience in traits and crop system marketing, commercialization, and stewardship, I have a proven track record of aligning marketing plans, delivering profitable growth, improving perceptions of value, making tradeoffs and prioritizing opportunities, setting financial metrics, targets, and budgets, and ensuring commercial and regulatory compliance for our products and systems in North America.
