We need to develop & implement processes needed for operational requirements without ever jeopardizing the moral of a work place or the health & safety of a worker.Focusing on communication which is paramount, and without it, the environment will become stale. You want to highlight trust & build on trust. Teach the staff that you trust them to work out their options and prioritize their work. Letting your team know that you trust them to make the right decisions with some of their daily tasks, allows them to feel a sense of ownership. You want them to know you trust them to take care of business on the shop floor or administrative office as if it was their own. You want to be sure that a successful team operates on communication and tell them, they each have something different to offer to the success of the team. Let the team know they own the work in front of them in their service bay or office and they don’t have to wait to be told what to do.As a leader I'm continuously aiming to help my team be more successful and grow within a framework of a partnering environment that promotes long-term relationships.
