• Managed a project of Sheet Heat Treat Line design.

• Designed flying shears, CNC plasma cutting machines, water jet cutting machines, and a rotary punching machine (patent #7980162) from concept to manufacturing.
• Transferred machinery products to China subsidiary, provided technical training to Chinese engineering staff, and specified mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components locally for the products.
• Completed CAE applications such as stress/fatigue/kinetic analysis for new products development as well as for existing products improvement.

• Designed a new electromechanical device for breaking the sharp edges of metal sheets after being sheared and punched/notched before entering a roll former in a roll forming production line.
• Designed a new guiding mechanism for a short work piece to be formed through a roll former. The mechanism is to ensure the formed parts are not offcenter.
• Designed customized machines for roll forming lines, cut-to length lines, and slitting lines, such as uncoiler, roll straightener, feed roll station, camber corrector, shear, destacker, under driven press, flying.
