I am an enthusiastic, innovative scientist who is always on the lookout for new and novel ways of solving real, practical problems, through a deep understanding of the chemistry/science underlying the problem at hand, in order to convert problems into possibilities. In my current position as a process chemist in the pharmaceutical industry, I analyse our processes in order to identify weak/difficult points, and then work to identify and implement workable and realistic solutions, both on a small (gram) scale, and on larger (>500 kg) scales. Seen in this perspective, trouble-shooting also becomes one of my natural tasks. The net result of my activities is to convert problems into solutions and IPR.From a broader perspective, one of my significant strengths lies in my ability to analyse complex problems (be it chemistry, mechanisms, or strategic questions), often from different professional areas, and identify the core question which needs to be addressed. I also have an excellent track record in forming and leading teams in order to solve these questions.
