Developed and maintained software for our e-learning environment (Blackboard), as well as for other projects and services, such as lecture streaming and course evaluations. Most development work was done in Java.

Initially started as an application developer in Java. Spent most of my time working on a client project where my role was focused more on application deployment and configuration.

Provided support for Blackboard users at the University of Groningen, and other IT services. Tested new releases and patches.

Joined the User eXperience (UX) team for a few months, together with a fellow student. We specifically looked at the future of mobile at DUO and we created a (functional) design for a new mobile app, by gathering and integrating business, technical and user requirements.

I performed localization/functionality testing of video games in English and Dutch.

Answered inquiries about income-based benefits, such as child care support, rent subsidies, and health care refunds. Furthermore, I also trained new employees.
