Responsible for the day to day management of the MeluXina data services, such as DDN storage with Lustre filesystems, backup and long-term archive based on DDN DataFlow/Atempo ADA and IBM TS4500 tape library, NetApp NFS, Ceph and S3 storage for cloud and high-speed data transfer technologies.Software tools development using GIT, Python, Bash and Ansible to monitor and maintain the environment.Secondary activities involve amongst others:- Developing new tools to automate activities and workflows.- Deploying new systems and applications such as monitoring e.g., Grafana and databases like PostgreSQL, Prometheus and InfluxDB.- Upgrading existing systems to new software releases- On and Off-Boarding of projects and users.- SLURM user and project administration.

Products covered: IBM xSeries, BladeCenter, IBM storage, Red Hat, SUSE, GPFS, LoadLeveler, CSM and xCAT.Working mainly with clients in the financial, higher-education, petrochemical and national labs sectors.Part of the xCAT development team, working on automating power and networking solutions. Ran various education sessions for business partners on HPC and xCAT. Presented at conferences on IBM's HPC Products and Strategy.

Various positions. Initially technical support, such as supporting Business Partners and large accounts. Covering Networking products, software products such as DB2 and x86 servers.Then joined software tools development for the IBM x86 servers, where I lead a team of programmers develop tools in Java. This included requirements gathering from the clients, and writing the specification and documentation.Presented at conferences around Europe on IBM's Linux strategy and IBM software development tools.
