I worked 7+ years in the food service industry. I had done just about everything as far as job goes working in a family owned pizza restaurant such as line cook, pizza cook, delivery driver, bartender, server and answering phones. I was manager at the restaurant for 7 years and general manager for almost 3 years now. My job responsibilities would include as much as an owner of a store would do or have without being an owner. I made sure the day to day operations of the store ran accordingly. I took inventory of the product we had and would also place orders to receive product from truck and other vendors. I manage the money for the end of the dat and made deposits or get change for the store. I wrote schedules for employees and handle the hire or termination of employees. I dealt with customer complaints and other needs. I help with setting up another store location. Classes such as leadership courses and Food Manager Serve Safety course were taken and passed.
