Responsible for the implementation and continued improvement of the Safety and Health Management Systems. Played a key role in the development of a professional development program for safety and health. This sets the necessary competencies and path from entry level to Director. Contributed to eliminating injuries in the mining industry globally and accomplished an 89% reduction in the total injury rate from 2005 – 2018 with a major mining organization. I have been heavily involved with the development of Critical Risk Management as well as working with the ICMM on the process. I managed and mentored Safety, Health and leadership staffing in the US, Chile, Peru, Dominican Republic, PNG, South and East Africa, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Australia. I have been responsible for establishing and managing corporate safety and health budgets and the oversight of the regional budgets. My commitment has always been to develop strategic plans inline with company leadership and improve the overall safety and health for all workers and their families. I am highly esteemed amongst my colleagues.
