As manager I am responsible to ensure all trouble tickets and work orders are assigned and completed in a timely manner, manage the SS7 Operations on-call, night work and PTO schedules and make sure the team has the tools needed to do their jobs. I work with other departments to provide resources to support their projects.I am responsible to create and assign quarterly goals for my direct reports, in support of the T-Mobile’s yearly objectives, conduct ongoing coaching sessions and help the team meet their career goals. I coordinated all training for the team, including all internal and vendor training.The duties I manage are placing all T-Mobile ISUP orders with the HUB providers, updating the SS7 network (STPs) with roaming partners, mobile code data and ISUP connections. I am also responsible for connecting all nodes to the core SS7 network; including building the link sets and SigTran associations, setting up and testing the facilities, adding all the MTP routing data fill and updating the facilities data base. My team supervises Tekelec while they perform upgrades on the Eagle STPs and are responsible for all maintenance of them; including installing new cards and troubleshooting all alarms on the STP.

As manager of the Data Translations team I supervised nine data translation engineers. I was responsible for the deployment of new switches and supervising the preparation and rollout of new features. I was also responsible for ensuring all work orders and trouble tickets were completed on time. I was responsible for coordinating all training for the team, including all internal and vendor training.Some of my other duties included; preparing yearly/quarterly goals for all of my direct reports, completing their yearly reviews and ensuring that they had the tools required for performing their jobs. I was also responsible for the interviewing and hiring of new engineers and training them on job specific functions.

I was the prime translations engineer for Spatial soft switch deployment into the T-Mobile network, including preparing the customer initial questionnaire for over 15 call servers, reviewing the database and supporting network verification testing before launch. I am familiar with IMSI based routing, prefix translations, national and international routing table, ‘Orig. Route Descriptor’ and ‘Orig. Route Modifier’ tables, Trunk Bundles as well as Out-pulse Maps. I was the prime translations engineer for Ericsson CMS 40 data translations, including digit analysis/pre-analysis, route definition, A# analysis/pre-analysis, global title, SS7 definition, size alterations, EOS, routing case data, recorded announcements, IN trigger tables, accounting data, LNP routing and IMSI analysis. I also worked with Ericsson on building the traffic database for multiple new CMS 40 MSCs and integrating them into an existing network.I worked with vendors in their test labs; testing new software loads, equipment and vender inter operability. I was the prime customer tester for the R7 FOA roll out on the Ericsson MSC and OSS platforms and worked with the Miami, FL market during customer acceptance. I worked with Siemens to add a PCS1900 GSM MSC into the New York market, including customer testing/acceptance and was responsible for maintaining the traffic data in over 20 GSM MSCs in 7 different markets.Network Operations Technician/Switch Technician 1996-1998Omnipoint PCS Communications, Wayne, New JerseyI perform manual backup on the Tekelec STP Eagle and on the CMS 40 MSC/BSC systems, was responsible for daily routines on the CMS 40 MSC/BSC systems, building and troubleshooting new cell site data and replacing faulty boards in the CMS 40 MSC/BSC. I also used the TTC Centest 650 to test T1 circuits, as well as preformed roaming testing of international and national partners.
